Week 2 - Start off strong
I am looking forward to starting my Happiness Project book club with my local library. Our first meeting is this upcoming Saturday and we are working with Chapter 1 - Energy.
I was pretty happy to find myself getting excited just by re-reading that chapter and I did something that I don't normally do. I made notes on it in my Kindle, which is crazy. I want to go over my notes which I emailed to myself and use that to help me solidify my goals for the month for ways that I can boost my energy.
I started off right by exercising this morning, which is really a huge accomplishment for me. I am currently working on some muscle issues and am in physical therapy for them as well as taking a muscle relaxer at night. I tried taking one during the day it was not a pretty sight. So now I take it only at night and really I get up after it should have cleared my system but I must have some weirdo reaction to it because it is like I am encased in cement. Once actually move myself out of bed and walk around for a couple of minutes I am all cleared up which is good, but overcoming the inertia from sleep is a herculean attempt.
And finally I was able to do some stuff business wise searching out some new candidates that I want to get in touch with. I also started to collect and organize all our tax information. This is one of those nagging recurring tasks that does drain energy from me, so thanks to the reminder from re-reading chapter one last night I am well on my way. The bummer is that some of the forms like the 1099s from banks won't be available until Jan. 20th or Jan 30th. But at least I have that info in one document, so I know what I need to collect and when I can collect it.
