I am just mad.

I didn't sleep well last night and I was achy and crampy (no I don't think I have anything serious.  I know exactly what this is and it will go in a day and a half and be back in roughly 28, there is no need to panic).  The kids are doing mostly good but that means there is the occasional bad and waking up the way I did just meant it was so easy to see the bad and for everyone to touch my last nerve.

So after a bunch of stuff going badly, I had some lunch, read a bit and heading out for my walk.  It is then that I realized I was just mad, I was mad at people, situations, governmental agencies, and a country.   So in no particular order, this is what I am mad about.

  • China for being so secretive and silent and keeping the world in the dark as long as they did.  I am still not sure that we really know the real info from them.
  • The FDA and CDC for loving red tape and not letting the spirit of America just jump in and help solve this problem as soon as it good.   For them insisting on their own complex test rather than going with the test that pretty much everyone else was using.  WHY?  What was the point to horde their so called power? I just made them look sniviling and week.
  • People in general, especially the ones that knew they were exposed or had the virus and then went about exposing so many people.  Seriously, idiots, those people make me so mad.
  • Politicians, for once keep your focus narrow and on the immediate need this is not the time to get your wishlist out. There is a call for us all to come together and then you pull this crap?  No no no no no no!
  • President Trump, occasionally there is a glimmer of an idea that should be considered but your style, tone, and delivery is so in your face that people only hear the style, tone, and delivery.  Not everything you say is worthwhile but sometimes what you say does deserve consideration and that is not being heard.
  • The media, don't panic you say on one side of the commercial and then on the other side, PANIC ugggg!  Also, come one everyone knows that you had Trump, you also know that he has a style that is offensive and yet you don't dig deeper and look at the message and not the tone.  Find out if there is something to consider, I am not saying act on it I am saying consider it.
  • I am mad that there is no chicken in the grocery store.  This is so random and I am sure it will work itself out soon and this isn't a panic type situation just an annoyance.  
So yeah in this current phase I am just mad at everything and everyone.  But alas I know that this will pass, I just need a bit more chocolate in peanut butter and probably just one night's sleep and I will be good to go again.

I am losing my momentum...

in many different areas.  I am still in showed up mode just skating by and maintaining but not breaking out of my rut. In some ways, I want to say it is ok because I spent two weekends in NJ visiting my Aunts and helping clear away some things at their house and the funeral.  I think everyone in this house has been sick not all at once so it seems like it has lasted forever.  So yeah there has been a lot of stress and uncertainty. I spent a good chunk of today focusing on some business-related things that I am really hope come to fruition.  I have also been doing some planning on Pinterest to try to incorporate some fun with my boys.  One of my fears is that as a 'Boy Mom' that I don't engage with them as much as I should or could because quite frankly I love them to bits but their interests don't really align with mine.  As the parent I know that it is my job to focus on them and come up with ways to join their interests, I get a lot of support from ...

Success...Happiness...Preconceived Notions....Letting Go

I am not really sure where I am going with this but I have been toying with this idea that success doesn't lead to happiness but it can sure enhance it.  So what exactly is success and really shouldn't I define success for me and ignore what "others" define as success? I have been thinking about this a lot and not really going anywhere partly because I am afraid of the answer.  But really I need to think about this for my own happiness, I get to decide what is right for me.  I also need to accept that I do not live in an ideal world so my vision of what I thought was success, probably isn't going to exist in the real world.  I need to adjust my idea of success to match reality and not what I wish, I have done it in other areas...
